Connect Spendesk and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Follow these steps in order to Connect Spendesk to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Pre-requisites:

  • The user must have administrator permissions in Business Central to enable the connection

  • The user must use the Online version of Business Central (version 23 or higher). The "On Premise" version is not supported by the integration

  1. In Spendesk navigate to Settings>Accounting Setup and click Switch Integration.

  2. Choose MS Dynamics 365 Business Central in the dropdown.

  3. Follow the on-screen flow in order to switch your accounting base in Spendesk. Then you will be redirected to Business Central and asked to authorize the connection.

  4. Choose the environment ("Production") and the subsidiary you want to connect to.

  5. Once connected, install and extension provided by our partner (Chift) by navigating to the Chift extension page and clicking "Get it now". Follow the steps on-screen until the extension is installed.
