The native integration between Spendesk and DATEV Rechnungswesen allows you to have accurate data between your financial tools, and save time at month closing. This integration applies to DATEV Rechnungswesen, the general ledger software used by in-house accounting teams in Germany.
Spendesk pulls your master data when you connect to DATEV Rechnungswesen and finalize your initial configuration. The integration provides control of this data in Spendesk to map your DATEV chart of accounts, cost dimensions and tax codes with your Spendesk accounting setup.

Setting up the integration is a three-phase process. Start by reading the prerequisites, then initiate the connection from Spendesk — which will generate the Local Agent installer for you — and finally install the agent on your DATEV server.

Known limitations:
Spendesk does not create or update supplier records in DATEV Rechnungswesen. Supplier master data flows from DATEV to Spendesk only.
DATEV Unternehmen Online (DUO) is only required if you wish to attach receipts and documents to the exported entries.

Important notes:
All transaction types are exported as Buchungsstapel entries in DATEV Rechnungswesen. Your accountant reviews and posts them to the general ledger.
Sammellieferant (collective supplier) and individual Kreditorenkonto posting are both supported and can be configured per expense type.
