Spendesk MCP (Beta) — Getting Started Guide

Last updated: May 2026 | Available to: Beta customers only

What is Spendesk MCP?

Spendesk MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a new capability that connects your Spendesk financial data directly to the AI tools your finance team already uses — through a simple, secure, read-only interface.

No more manual exports. No more switching between dashboards. Just ask a question in natural language and get instant, accurate financial insights.

In one sentence: Get all your Spendesk data, anywhere you need it, the way you want it — through a prompt.

Instead of navigating Spendesk to pull a report, you can simply ask your AI assistant:

  • "Show me spend by cost center for Q1 2026"

  • "What invoices from supplier X haven't been exported to our ERP yet?"

  • "What are our top 10 suppliers this quarter?"

And get a precise, real-time answer — directly in your AI tool of choice.

Who is this for?

Spendesk MCP is designed for finance professionals who already use AI tools in their day-to-day work:
