Request a Single-Use Virtual Card from the Mobile App

You do not need to use your laptop to generate a single-use virtual card. With our mobile app, you can create one on-the-go!

Make sure you have the latest version of the app on iOS or Android, and follow these simple steps:

  1. On the home page of the app, tap the +New request button.

  2. Select Ask for a virtual card.

  3. Enter the desired amount and tap Continue.

  4. Fill in the supplier, description, analytic codes, and other details.

  5. Tap Submit request.

Depending on your spending policy, your request will either require validation or be automatically approved.

Once your request is approved, the virtual card details will appear, and you can copy and paste the card number to make your online purchase.

After completing your purchase, upload your receipt as usual:

  • From the mobile app.

  • From your computer.

  • By replying directly to the payment email with your receipt.

  • By forwarding it in one click (the company address is in your account; when you click on a payment, choose Forward your receipts).

Spendesk virtual cards cannot be used for in-store purchases. However, you can use the card online and show the card details in person to prove you are the card owner.

Paying in a different currency than your wallet’s? No worries! Simply enter the amount in the currency you need, and we'll automatically convert it to your wallet's currency at the daily exchange rate.

Please note: Recurring virtual cards cannot be requested from the mobile app. To request recurring virtual cards, please log in from a computer.
