You must activate the two-factor authentication on Spendesk that is required by Xero to allow connection.

Step 3 - Connection with two-factor authentication
You now can connect on Spendesk to start using the Xero integration. At this stage it is therefore normal to see the Xero integration as 'inactive'. You can click on Connect to Xero.
You then need to activate the two-factor authentication by clicking on Continue. This is requirement from Xero.
After a successful connection you will be redirected back to the Accounting Setup page on Spendesk where you will see the status of your connection. Your chart of accounts, tax codes and analytical plans will be pulled from Xero in the background.
Next steps
You can now start the configuration of Spendesk to use Xero accounting setup.
