How to Manage Your Security Code in Spendesk

Managing your security code in Spendesk involves resetting it if you've forgotten it or changing/creating a new one. Follow this guide for step-by-step instructions to ensure your account security.

Resetting Your Security Code

If you’ve forgotten your security code, reset it using the following steps:

  1. Open the Spendesk app and click on "Code forgotten."

  2. You will be logged out of the app. The existing code will be reset automatically.

  3. Log back into the app to create a new security code.

Important Note: If you enter an incorrect security code three times in a row, your connection to Spendesk will be blocked for one hour. To avoid this, use the "Code forgotten" option to reset your code promptly if you are unsure of it.

Creating or Changing a Security Code

To create or modify your 4-digit security code, you need to use the Spendesk mobile app. Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account on the Spendesk mobile app. Please note, security code updates cannot be performed on the web platform.

  2. Navigate to the Security section in the app.

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to create or change your security code.

If you cannot find the "Profile & settings > Security options > Security code" menu mentioned in older instructions, focus on accessing the Security section within the mobile app to handle security code management.
