New changes from Feb 1st!

From February 1st, we will be asking Spendesk users to provide their date and place of birth in addition to their last name and first name, so they can keep using Spendesk payment Services.

Why does Spendesk need this personal data?

As a payment services provider, Spendesk is required by law (articles L561-5, R561-5 and R561-5-4 of the French Monetary and Financial Code) to identify the persons using its payment services as Spendesk has an obligation to fight against money laundering and fraud.

To whom will it apply?

👉 All users (Requesters) who want to use physical and virtual cards (single-use & recurring).

👉 All users who want to perform wire transfers to reimburse expense claims or pay supplier invoices (Account Owners and Controllers).

How do I provide this information?

Although we informed users about this request by email, we don’t expect them to provide their personal data via email.

Instead, a user should proceed this way to enter the required information:

  1. Log into the Spendesk app,

  2. Click on the avatar in the top right corner,

  3. Add the Date and Place of Birth to Profile details.

Do not provide this data via email.

With whom this personal data is shared?

This personal data will be shared with service providers assisting Spendesk in the fight against money laundering and fraud.

What happens in case I do not provide this personal data?

You will not be able to use payment services as long as you do not provide this information.
