There are two options on Spendesk to deactivate your card.
If you'd like to stop using your card temporarily
head over to your Card tab.
Click on Block. This will pause your card and it cannot be used while it is paused.
The funds that were available on your card will automatically be transferred back to your company's account.
👉🏻 Please note that you can always un-pause this action at any time.
If you'd like to stop using your card permanently:
head over to your Card tab.
Click on Block this card.
Click on Report it as... and choose a reason from the drop-down menu (stolen, unused, damaged...).
Alternatively, you can also run through these steps on the Spendesk mobile app.
Please note that this action is irreversible. You'll have to order a new card after that.
Can I lend / transfer my card to a colleague?
You're not able to transfer your card to another colleague as physical cards are individual and made for a specific cardholder.
Unfortunately, you shouldn't lend them either : our virtual and physical cards are tied to individual user accounts. It means that all transactions will appear in Spendesk under their name so it'll be hard then to transfer a receipt.
This is to ensure that your Account Administrators, including your accountant, can easily track and monitor what’s being spent across your company.

If your colleague does not have a physical card yet, it’s time to order one. To do so, make sure to ask your Account Administrators: they are able to order one for you, on your behalf. Plus, they're free of charge! 🙌🏻
